A single tannery in Gudiyatham has grown into a family-owned group of five specialised units across Vellore and Chennai, each responsible for a distinct stage of the leather-to-shoe process; tanning, upper-making, sole assembly, final finishing, and retail-ready design.

HTC Tannery Division
An in-house effluent treatment plant recycles tannery water, the unit has earned an LWG Gold Standard rating along with ISO 9001 & 14001 certification. High-precision imported machinery produces finishes ranging from Nubuck and Waterproof to Chrome-Free Leather, across a 25-acre facility with 12 million sq. ft. of annual capacity.
HTC Footwear Division
A 70,000-pairs-a-month output, including 50,000 lasted uppers, holds steady as order volumes grow, backed by DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 (TÜV SÜD) and SA8000:2014 certification covering both quality and social accountability. Operating since 1980 across three manufacturing units, the division is built around long-term production partnerships rather than one-off orders.
HTC Footwear Division – Chennai
Craftsmanship and manufacturing technology run together here, keeping precision consistent across 20,000 uppers and 10,000 lasted uppers produced monthly. GORE-TEX® certified and ISO 9001:2015 / SA8000:2014 compliant, close to 350 skilled professionals build firefighter, rescue, chainsaw-protection, and insulated safety boots engineered for demanding, high-stakes working environments.
HTC Full Shoe Factory
An 85,000-pairs-a-month facility pairs time-honoured technique with modern equipment across six construction methods, including hand-stitched Moccasin, Sachetto, San Crispino, and Goodyear Welted. Twenty-five years of artisan expertise, combined with SA8000, Sedex, SMETA, BIS, ZED, and OCS/RCS compliance, delivers casual, dress, and luxury footwear for global brands and OEM partners.
